Have you ever sat down and tried to remember how much gear you've gone through?

I still have almost everything I ever bought gear-wise. The only things that are gone are:

- My first acoustic (Maeri brand) which just got completely unplayable and warped so I sat it out beside the trash and it was gone within 30 minutes

- Metal Zone - got it almost for free as part of a large auction lot, sold it for about $80US (!!! - gear is expensive here)

- Digitech RP6 - Gave away to a friend

- Boss OC2 - completely died so sold for parts/repair

Everything else is still here (bar a lot of sets of strings and a few cables that have disappeared...

I've come out ahead on 95% of stuff I've bought and sold. I've always just used the sale of instruments to fund new gear. That's how I built my studio over the first 10 years or so... I've got a list on one of my PCs. I will update later.

Found it. Don't want to clutter the forum with a full page of my BS.

My family owned a music store from 1946-1996, now I am at it. That just aint gonna happen! Guitars? 1950 Broadcaster, 1953 Les Paul, 1976 Bicentennial Firebird, 1959 Les Pauls, 1957 Les Pauls, 1960 Les Paul, 1968LP, 1961 ES335, D'Angelico NewYorker, Selmer D'Angelico, 1977 LP Std, 1958 Explorer, and many many many more! Amps? I kept the Supro 1624T (goes to tape like special magic), 1966 Vibrolux Reverb, 1966 Twin Reverbs (2). Marshall 1968 model PA100 hotrodded (stolen). Tons of other Marshall, Fender, Peavey, Gibson, Premier, Selmer, Excelsior, Sanno, Standel, etc amps. Sanno made a neat Vox Ac30 knock off. (kept it) Also a Dynaco Twen that is like a Princeton verb without the reverb. Killer German amp. Stramp was another awesome amp army guys brought back from Germany. Mom played bass, so we had that stuff too. Play it until you sell it or buy it.
