Its got great EQ and natural fatness and cleans up great. though there is something still very sexy about a fuzz face into a wound up amp. JIZZ PALACE. Members Poltergeist Posted November 24, 2012 Members Share Posted November 24, 2012 whatever you get i'm sure is gonna be fine. not saying it is bad that it won't clean up, it was just not designed to do that at all. when you turn the volume down on your guitar, on the other hand, it really lets the gain and clarity come through if you're using the Pharaoh. sounds amazing. i used to think it didn't have enough gain, but you just have to roll down the volume a bit and it is devastating.
