Members caeman
I support the lack of "modern" features and sticking to an emulation of the original.

They look like Cbread and not like anything else. That's all subjective though so you know... YMMV. The clinical explanation. It is--Binson themselves modified their design from the Echorec 2 (which the Cbread is based on) with the 12-position dial to the PE series (like mine) that have push-button switches for head activation to their final versions, which replaced those with 3 position toggle switches for each head. anyhow, it would make more sense--but if Cbread is trying to stay authentic to the Echorec 2--then the 12 pos dial is it. Phil O'Keefe
Hiwatt Bob may be a 1% type of guy, but he's OUR 1%. Congrats on the new Echorec - I look forward to checking out your lofi demo. As for the new Catalinbread Echorec pedal, does anyone know when they're scheduled to start shipping - or did I miss that somewhere earlier in the thread? Members Hiwatt Bob
Thanks Phil! It's pretty cool, it's a "new" or reissue Echorec I got off TGP. It's got a variable speed DC motor which allows for much more flexibility and increased delay time. Will do a demo soon. Also interested to hear when Cbread will release their Echorec.
