What I'd like to see is the TU-1000 photoshopped (to scale, as best it can be done) on to a pedalboard - say, something in the mid-to-large size bracket, like a Pedaltrain 2 (24" wide). That'd leave just under 4" on each side... Of course, I can't find a front-on shot of the PT2 right now, but you get the idea.
