Walked into my local music store and my friend that works there literaly dragged me over to this new 1x12 offering from Traynor.

Traynor Custom Valve 50BLUE 50 watt loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30...sounds like a little vicious Marshall...tons of gain on tap...very smooth. :)

That's a nice tone you got happening Randy, esp. a little combo. Hard to get those to sound that deep. Any serious EQ'ing in mixdown? You use a nice dark mic on it?

I don't know so much about the Marshally thing, its not real crunchy like a classic Marshall, and its voiced deeper. But that's my opinion. The tone is very useful. Neat.

Thanks for checking the clip out and the kind comments on the tone and playing :)...

The clip really does the amp no justice tone-wise, I'm blown away by it...this combo sounds much better in person...I wouldn't change a thing about it! :D

Here's another heavy rhythm clip...with too much reverb :)...

That sounds great. I would have never guessed it was a combo.

Wow....never knew those amps could do that. To be honest they don't get much talk at all.....so I know nothing about them.

The amp actually lists at 879.

Looks like you can pick one up for 559.

Tax and/or shipping may get you over 6 bills.

Nearly 600 for a 1x12... it should sound good.

And it does. Great amp for tube tone in a smaller package. (No, it's not a half stack.)

I wasn't a fan of the previous combos Traynor had out...but this one kicks ass!...

See if you can try one out, you won't regret it. :)

JTH...sorry I missed your question here...

It sounds Marshally in person for sure but a little fatter in the mids, which I like.

No EQ at mixdown...used a 57 off axis for miking. :)
