Members sattmims Posted October 8, 2005 Members Posted October 8, 2005 i play a joe satriani ibanez thru a traynor YCV60 amp. it sounds nice but, the louder i get, the louder the hum. i can think of 3 places of where this comes from: 1. my pickups2. tubes seem to generate more hum in general3. electricity from my household what's the best method to reduce/elimnate hum without affecting my guitar tone too much? it gets irritating at low volume levels. suggestions are encouraged and welcomed. e-mail: [email protected] -matt sims
Members JonathanD Posted October 8, 2005 Members Posted October 8, 2005 ISP noise decimator. depending on the noise, get a pedal and put it either in front of the amp or in the loop.
