Members geek_usa Posted December 20, 2005 Author Members Posted December 20, 2005 Originally posted by Blakeley311 I can understand not liking the nirvana disc... some people were so in love with how slick nevermind was, that In Utero bummed them out. IMO, the drum tones on In Utero are some of the sickest drum tones recorded... up there with Failure - Fantastic Planet. The Dark Side comment on the other hand... I complete disagree with you. That album has some of the best songwriting, lyrics, political/social commentary and overall production. The amount of sampling, synth and programming put into that album was unheard of and frankly, not done before that album. It set the standard for a lot of albums to come, and frankly few, if any, have met or exceeded it. I don

All of Albini's recordings kick ass. I don't mean to start a flame war by any means, but Albini produced both Razorblade Suitcase and In Utero. That doesn't make him a bad producer by any means... it just means he's willing to lower himself that far down to let {censored}ty albums like that escape his studio.

Members godhacks Posted December 20, 2005 Members Posted December 20, 2005 Worst album I own: System of a Down - Steal This Album
Members theflyingeyebal Posted December 20, 2005 Members Posted December 20, 2005 Not the worst ever, by the worst by a great artist.... Bob Dylan - Under the Red Sky The album had George Harrison, Elton John, Slash, SRV, David Crosby on it. I found it at the library one day. It was awful! I couldn't believe Dylan could put out something so stupid.
Members Dramius Posted December 20, 2005 Members Posted December 20, 2005 Im gonna go ahead & say some of the later Scorpions stuff... (or other bands that shoulda quit after they ran outa material) Bostons 3rd & after.. Im guessing ol David Hasselhoff's gotta have some real poo reakage... Ive heard some real {censored} by Kiss Any little kid rappers ((lil-homeo) & lots of adults) are real ass-faggs. Stuff by lindsay lohan & bimbos like that... yup. = to Stuff by blatent homo-boy bands or anything like the Backstreet(door) Boys etc... Anything Yoko ono sung on... etc..
Members bombassticbass Posted December 20, 2005 Members Posted December 20, 2005 IMO the worst album of all time would have to be St Anger. Metallica should be producing some friggin awesome material, given all the money, studio time and resources availiable to them as well as experience they have.

I love In Utero, and Razorblade Suitcase... a lot actually... whats your beef with RS?

Absolutely the worst album in history. Boring, repetative, and every song pulls you in and then kicks you out. What starts off sounding like a killer song, turns into a total crapfest. It gets frustrating. come on, do something interesting with that riff...don't {censored} it up this time...ack... ...not again.
