List the albums you simply cannot stand/that you think are grossly overrated/in your opinion are the worst albums of all time, and if possible, a reason why.

Here's my starter list. I will probably edit it later.

Nirvana - In Utero (sickeningly boring...no musical value - just feedback)

Bush - Razorblade Suitcase (same as above)

Korn - any of their albums beyond Issues (pales in comparison to older Korn...yet everybody eats it up like candy)

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (grossly overrrated. I never got the big hype about it)

Smashing Pumpkins - Machina (not even The Smashing Pumpkins, if you ask me)

Rage Against The Machine - Battle of L.A. (boring, boring, boring)

Metallica - St. Anger (self explanatory)

Limp Bizkit - New Old Songs (cash cow)

Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish and Hotdog Flavored Water (please...)

50 Cent - Anything he releases.

more to come later on...

OU812 is terrible.

I listened to it and the two things I could remmeber were the choruses to "Mine all Mine" and "Cabo Wabo". Stretching a song like Cabo out to 6+ minutes is {censored}ing ridiculous.

I noticed they dedicated it to their dad. Pretty bad way of showing your love by making an awful album.

One of my all time favorites. The best production of any album I've ever heard.

I'm voting foranything by:

creed

linkin park

nsync

backstreet boys

Worst album? Hmmm...hmmmm.... Do you mean the album that let me down the most after I had expected great things from it? The album that grates on my ears, head, and soul the most?

If so, that would have to be Frank Zappa's "Jazz from Hell." Man, that album is worse than fingernails on a blackboard.

Not really the Worst of All Time, but here are a few I was severely let down by:

Judas Priest - Retribution

Prong - Scorpio Rising

Danzig - Circle of Snakes

Machine Head - Supercharger

Fu Manchu - Start the Machine

And I'll add everything that was ever put out by:

Nirvana

SOAD

Tome Petty

U2

Styx

Boston

They make me cringe:freak:

I can understand not liking the nirvana disc... some people were so in love with how slick nevermind was, that In Utero bummed them out. IMO, the drum tones on In Utero are some of the sickest drum tones recorded... up there with Failure - Fantastic Planet.

The Dark Side comment on the other hand... I complete disagree with you. That album has some of the best songwriting, lyrics, political/social commentary and overall production. The amount of sampling, synth and programming put into that album was unheard of and frankly, not done before that album. It set the standard for a lot of albums to come, and frankly few, if any, have met or exceeded it. I don
