Members Hotcakes
Sure would. I like mine as much as my Tube Screamers. Same vibe, but more versitile. And you can't beat that price.

Members godofmetalguita
why would u boost the clean channel of that amp? What kind of tone are u going for? I'm sure if its anything heavy, then i wont be the only one to say, use gain from the amp, and add some more with the bad monkey...if u need it. I didnt like using a boost too much when i tried it with my 5150, i used a maxon OD830 i think it was. It just took away from the raw sound of the amp. Members ThyHorrorCosmic
using it as a clean boost means that you use no pedal gain, just max the level. on the pedal.
Members anti-flag193
Originally posted by ThyHorrorCosmic this is my plan exactly, what are some of your settings? take into account mine has been modded from a 5150II into a 5150, has a bias mod and a clarity mod. for the settings on the 5150: low, mid high are all around 5. Pres is about 7, res is at 3. Gain is at 4. For the bad monkey:level on 10, low at about 2, high about 3,and gain at 0. MXR 10 band I have set on a reverse smiley face.
