Members Drago
yeh borrowing a vamp pro off a mate, im digging it quite alot, especially for the heavy tones it offers. Still obviously tweaking about but see what u think of these 2 clips. www.soundclick.com/elementsuk Hopefully a new soundcard will make it sound even better. Cheers Btw one of the Clips is in Bb, one is in G (Yes G)

Members Hotcakes
Sounds really good. I only listened to V-amp test, but I really dig it. I'm surprised at how good the V-amp sounds...I should buy one just to make clips.

Members Drago
Cheers gents, The settings are actually pretty much all at noon, the tone shaping is done via a boss GE-7 infront of it. cutting 100/250 and boosting 800/1.2 a bit, then boosting in cubase at 1.2 in the post eq. The V amp test sounds better imo, its so difficult getting an unmuddy sound when tuned to G. The gain is on about 4.5/5. Sound is a bit flat to what im hearing before i record, im hoping a new soundcard will clear that up.And yeh mega heres that KSE clip, its really old and never got the chance to finish it 100% (my dad spilt Tea over my old computer the day after recording it!)Its the savage SE, which i beleive has the sme tonal characteristics as the 120 but the power tubes are different, ull be able to get something rpetty close to this...www.digitalsoundplanet.com/Members/000139233_000029124.mp3

Im in the middle of recording it with the v amp, ill try and get it finished tonight. Its actually a cover of a band called Thrice, its the vocalist of thrice. and yeh straight to soundcard, unfortuantly, my soundcard is a bit poo and u can hear the nosie it makes epecially in the clean bits. its like a high frequency around 7640hz Robo i think it was done with channel 4 but i cant remmeber 100%, it was recorded nearly a year ago. Members tele_jas
A buddy of mine has used the V-amp 2 for all his recording for a few years now, likes it better than the POD stuff. If anyone gets bored sometime, you may find his site interesting... He played guitar with Shotgun Messiah back in the early 90s and with the band Hellion before that. His name is Bill Bruce and his site is www.billbruce.com.
