I need to get a cab for my peavey xxx and cant decide between these two. I can get the 1960a cab for 350 here in AZ or the g-flex for 409 that is not factory sealed, but is still new. Im looking for a tight bottom end and smooth highs. but not ear piercing, Transportation is kind of an issue. If it matters, I am am using a schecter avenger with stock pickups. Thanks guys.

I just wanna know where u found a 1960a cab for 350. (i'd go with that one i played it w/ a Crate Blue Voodoo 120W head and it sounded awesome. only my guitar center was selling the cab for 750 :/ if you could tell me where you are looking i'd appreciate it (i just bought a $400 480W B-52 cab so i'm curious) thanks so much man

i don't have any experience with the G-flex, but from what I hear it has a good deal of low-end. I've owned teh 1960, and I would say it has a distinct lack of said low-end. Together, they may do very well.

strictly for the xxx I'd go with the 1960a. I usually prefer v30's but the xxx goes well with gt75's as well.

the 1960a is much tighter than the gflex (which sounds like a {censored}ty v30 cab) but the high are harsher with a less pronounced midrange.
