GOt the Priest from Budokon DVD for X-mas.

I know the Maroon Gibson "type" v with the rounded wings in the begining like 5 songs is a Hamer.

But the black one that he uses later that looks like a King v with shorter wings.

I can't totally tell is that an ESP lettering on that head stock?

Is that a import V only?

Like the Laihlo Rhoads thing??????

ANybody know??????????

I'm going to be building Dan a site in the near future. He built me a custom Strat that KILLS. He's a great luthier and a really great guy.

He's JP's guitar tech and then the need arose for some custom guitars.

I'll get some at practice saturday.

It's Mahogany w/ a flamed maple top 1 EMG bridge humbucker and a Kahler. It was the prototype built in 83 for KK for his Hamer Signature model.

"Vector KK (1984 - 1985) - Similar to the Vector but has a single humbucker, small scratch plate, Kahler Flat Mount trem. and a pointed three-a-side peghead. "

actually the reason for the light strings is because he has had hand problems (tendon/ligament?) for a long time, and he has to use them. its the same thing i would do if i had problems...id rather play spider webs if i couldnt play my bridge cables instead of not playing at all!!!

While we're on the subject of priest, I've seen a few pics of Tipton with what looks like an upside down jackson warrrior with priest logo inlays, he also played it live when I saw them at Birmingham, but I can't find *any* info on what it is. And please, no one tell me it's a Hamer GT like the dingbats that I asked last time....
