Members jrc6
"how does the rode nt1000 hold up? night and day from the nt1a? im willing to spend the extra cash if its worth it." The NT1000 is a very solid mic. The rode mic's are very well built. It is a straight forward mic. I haven't heard the NT1-A, but the NT1000 is much clearer than my AT 3030. For acoustics & vocals, the NT1000 is a better option. check out this review. bruce richardson convinced me. I am very happy with my rode NT1000. http://www.prorec.com/prorec/articles.nsf/articles/60D13B8C0E0AFA5986256A1D005425AB

Members tilimo
I have the NT-1a and the 3035 - both are good mics for the money - of those two mics I prefer the 3035. I would check out a studio projects B-1 or C-1 for vocals and acoustic guitar - for the money the B-1 is the best bang for the buck I have found at less than $100 bucks.
