Members ftmx
So i just purchased my first all tube head, peavey ultra 120 (mid nineties one) and i dont have the footswitch to go with it. I searched on ebay for one and cant find one for sale. I read that the footswitch for the xxx head would work with the ultra 120 but i honestly dont know for sure. Any information on any of this would help me greatly. It's gonna suck balls not being able to switch channels!!!
Members Rindgecore
Well considering the XXX is another amp in the Ultra line, there is no reason for the footswitch to not work with it., right?
Members ftmx
I honestly did not know it was in the ultra series but i really need to find out if it can work or not. Members MattACaster
I don't believe the XXX switch will work. Talk to JerryP on this forum. He should be able to whip something up for you.
Members ftmx
I know there are more than one peavey infoheads on here. AHAHAHAHAHAHA.......the depseration is driving me mad!!!!
Members DirtyBird
If it's 3 channels, get the Triple XXX footswitch, if it's 2, then get the 5150 footswitch. And I dont know this for sure or anything, but it seems logical to me.... but then again, I've got a 3 channel rockmaster that uses a 2 button footswitch so who knows... ? Members cloudnine
Hey dude - I have a Peavey footswitch here that isn't getting used. I think it's from a 5150 combo but it should work fine. If you want it its yours, you can just have it, no $ required.

Members cobrahead1030
when i had my ultra plus, i tried it with my other guitarist's XXL footswitch...it seemed like only half the features worked or something wierd like that; dunno if the XXL switch would act any different

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe a 5150 footswitch has a 1/4" connector and if you have the same Ultra as I do it takes a 7pin DIN connector...
