In the spirit of metal-ness, I'll tell you guys a story.

So I was at my first jazzy lesson a couple weeks ago, and my teacher was trying to get a feel for where I was and stuff. So we were discussing chords, and he asks me to try to describe a minor chord and a major chord in words.

So I think "man I gotta use some cool words, cant just say something basic" so I say minor chords are somber, lamenting, regretful sounding, while major are uplifting, contented, etc.

He looks at me weird and says:

"Well, I just put them into the categories of happy and sad."
