Members Munkeyfish
I need some info on Attenuaters'. I'm moving to NY in 3 weeks, and got an Apt. now and need to get great tones at a low Volume. I see that there is many kinds on the market. I now nothing about them other than that they some how dappen the vol. going to the speakers. I see that most have bright and deep switches. And they come in 4,8,or 16 ohm only, but not all together? How do they effect your tone? Do they work as said too? Are they really that good? What brand should I get? Any last longer than others? And is there any that do multi- ohms? Any help would be great!!! Oh, and if any one has a 16 ohm or multi-ohm ohm they would like to sell, drop me an E-mail Thanks!!! Members merple
The Weber Mass is a multi ohm unit.I dont have one yet, but I will be getting one eventually.Being able to use one box with any cab was a deciding factor.
Members aerorockjax
I've got a weber minimass on the way and it does have a switch (like all the weber mass attenuators) to select the correct ohm (4,8,16..) for the amp your using it with. I will post a review after i get and test it out.
