Members Kevin_L
First off, I'm pretty new to these forums. I've browsed around here for quite a while, but never really bothered to post. So heres a whats up to everyone on here. So, to get back on topic, a friend of mine just won a Peavey Revolution off ebay: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Peavey-Revolution-150w-RMS-head-Built-in-Effects_W0QQitemZ330002261122QQihZ014QQcategoryZ38076QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Both of us are pretty foggy on how this thing will sound, and was wonderin what the general consensus on these heads are. Opinions please. Much thanks, - Kev
Members DeathMonkey
For just over 150 clams, thats a pretty good head. Peavey, IMHO, has never made a terrible sounding SS amp over 50 watts. It ain't gonna sound tube, but it should sound decent.

Members Kevin_L
Thats cool, wasn't expecting tube, but it would be nice to know that it sounded decent. Anyone have a cab suggestion for this thing?
Members Tribute2Johnny
i'm having issues with my transtube Bandit...it's starting to sound like balls caught in your throat, but that could be from my settings and Zoom GFX-1 pedal. That thing is a love/hate ordeal.
Members Rocky101
Those heads are pretty rare. I played one about 15 years ago, I remember that it had some really cool reverb settings and effects.

Members Craig smith
I love mine ive had marshall fender randall just about every name brand amp u can get and my revolution head tops them all. It pushes my 4- 412 cabs with ease . add a alesis midiverb 4 and you got a great amp for metal or clean or whatever u play. If u have a chance play one. Then ask yourself why people dont like this amp besides yhe fact it weighs a ton. Twice as much as most heads. Love this amp
