Thing is though, there's pretty much no where I can go to try out the JMP-1 setup. So I'm pretty much reliant on reviews and the sound clips I've heard so far. The clips by the way sound awesome. Can the JMP-1 equal the tone of the DSL and go beyond that? Ah yes, if I do get the JMP-1, how can I use my DSL as a temporary Power Amp until I get a power amp? Members marshallnoise Posted September 26, 2006 Members Share Posted September 26, 2006 In my opinion, there is NOTHING the JMP-1 can't do. With the exception of Fenderish cleans. But enough chorusing and delay can take care of those woes. Just sell the DSL and get the preamp and combine it with a transparent poweramp such as the Mesa 2/50. Members BillyCorgan Posted September 26, 2006 Members Share Posted September 26, 2006 I've played a TSL 100 and my last gig was a battle of the bands where i had to use a DSL 50. The DSL was sweet but my JMP-1 rig slaughters it. I haven't found anything that can touch the Mesa Strategy 500 for power though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
