The first step is to build a studio PC as I feel that's the really only way to make any advancement here. As we discussed, an audio card on a system bus is a necessity and I've been doing this too long and love it too much not to slow down and put the time and money into doing it the right way. Without one, the rest of the rack would be useless.. more or less. I'd lack recording and sequencing abilities. As much as I would love a shiny new thingy, we got to take care of some bidness first.
