Members barneyc4
How do you move a 4x12 around? For example, loading it on the van/suv/truck? Do you do it yourself or ALWAYS ask for help? Anyone take a 4x12 upstairs?
Members TomCTC
That arm I lost in Nam {censored}ed up alot of things for me, but because I still have my balls, yes I can carry a 4x12.
Members Ãœberschall
I usually let my 12 year old niece carry my 4x12 up the stairs.
Members Blackwater
If you plan on using a 4x12 you better be able to carry it.
Members conaghy
I've done it before.. Moving it around the house, and into the back of a van/and a car. I lift it from the back. It's not really heavy.. just really awkward. I normally just get someone to help..
Members STEEL KAGE
If you plan on using a 4x12 you better be able to carry it. LMAO!!! absolutely!!! I used to carry 2 of them(at the same time) up and down 3 flights of stairs in an apartment that I lived in. Carrying them down wasnt bad but carrying them up burnned my quads like a bitch at the end, it was like a set of heavy squats
Members Joshtruction
carrying a 4x12 is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Maybe thats because I am used to lugging and ampeg 8x10 around (which is heavy to get in and out of cars but not unbearable). People need to stop being so weak and just grab the {censored}ing thing and do what you gotta do.
Members The Jeff
I basically just squat my Recto cab when I carry it around myself...no need to {censored} up your back. Just squat down, stabilize your base, and lift with your legs.
Members indespise
I load my Mesa 4x12 (which is substantially larger and heavier than most 4x12's) around by myself almost all the time. I had to carry the damn thing up a steep hill once, it sucked. Good exercise, though.

Members Rich4Once
I use 2 2x12 cabs...they're a lot easier to move up and down narrow stairways.
Members charliedango
I can.In and out of the van/in and out of the venue. Sometimes it's just me packing out all the amps and cabinets at the end of the night because I don't like leaving our gear set up while we're throwing back a few after the show. Things tend to get forgotten that way.
