"Twotimes" Charlie couldn't stop talking about his "just-turned-seventeen-girlfriend" all the way there ... but he hadn't seen or heard from her for 18 hours. Upon arrival, Chas' place was a mess, with the front door slightly ajar. Someone had beaten us there. (Maybe we shouldn't have stopped for that sit-down pancake breakfast at the church.) No blood, thankfully, but ALL the synths were gone. My instructions were to take said ION by Chas by any means necessary. Or at the very least to perform a SysEx dump. Was there some kind of message in the code or the patch parameters? Then I thought to myself ... I'm thinking too much ... THEY don't really like that, do they? Meanwhile, Charlie emerges from the toilet area looking relieved and winded, holding a copy of JUGGs magazine he did not have upon entry. I guess he managed to forget his girl for a minute.
