I have friends that are hardcore into anime and for a long time they've tried to get me into it, but to no avail. I've watched it with them and I think it's lame. I remember going to one of my friends' house about 7-8 years ago and he finally opened his closet and there was an ungodly amount of anime videos; we're talking hundreds. Him and both of this older brothers were, don't know if they still are, into it. I recall him saying, "This is the best one I have and it's my favorite series." I watched it and all I could think about was how lame it was and how much I wanted to do something else. I've watched some with friends since then and I think the same thing every time.
