There are, in western music anywas, certain musical notes that do convey different emotions...D and C tend to feel happy or upbeat, E and F can feel angry or sad. Major and minor notes can effect the feel also. I know Ive seen a site before that lists all the major/minor notes and the general feel it conveys...you might search for it...try "music key emotions" or something on google.
