Members Arkanian23
the other guitarist in my band's krank blew a fuse. we replaced it and it blew out again. from reading around on the forum, a power tube probably blew out. if thats the case, can anyone recommend some good tubes for it? thanks. I hope it is only a tube....mine did that 3 days ago. I replaced all tubes and the fuse still blew. I think one of the filter caps has shortened

Members Erock503
people seem to really like the TAD 6L6WGC in that amp.

Members itkindaworks
I had that problem in a peavey classic 50. A way to rule out power tube failure is to take the power tubes out, and turn the amp on, if it still blows fuses, it wasn't power tubes(or wasn't only power tubes). In my case, it was the output transformer.

Members Erock503
yikes I wouldn't get too worried yet. Try tubes, if that doesn't fix it, then call/email Krank. They have excellent customer support, and they carry a lifetime warranty if he bought it from a dealer. Even if he didn't, I'm sure they will try and help him out. One of their tech's actually called me at my house when I emailed a question about biasing, and I got mine used on eBay.
Members monoXstereo
I would have to agree about the great service at Krank. I haven't dealt with any better company, although Mesa Boogie are wonderful too. Krank has a great forum on their website too.
