Members CenturyStanding Posted May 10, 2008 Members Share Posted May 10, 2008 It can do classic crunch way better than the Powerball. It has more midrange and more "bite" to the attack of the notes. The 6550's give the amp a nice percussive thwack to the note articulation. Go look up Lord Riffenstein's website. He has a ton of clips of the Savage with taming tones than you are used to hearing.
