Members bm1977
Can you recommend a good and reliable hard drive for a mobile DJ? Would the Glyph GT 050Q 1.5TB Quad Interface Hard Drive work? Or are they intended for recording only? http://www.guitarcenter.com/Hard-Drives-Computers---Peripherals.gc Thanks
Members gruvjack
What do you intend to do with the drive? Store music for live playback with software/hardware? The Glyph would work in that scenario but personally I think it's overkill. V.

Members d1rtynyc
Go with a portable bus-powered USB drive for gigs and back up on a additional HD.You don't want to have to plug in a HD at the gig. It becomes too much trouble. Plus that drive you mentioned is way too big to lug arround to gigs. I use this USB drive myself with great luck:http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/641356-REG/Western_Digital_WDBAAA5000ABK_NESN_500GB_My_Passport_Essential.html$100 for 500GB Check out this for Glyph: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/601954-REG/Glyph_Technologies_PGFW8001B_500_500GB_PortaGig_800_Dual.html $275.00 for 500GB
