I have a question that is a dilemma going on in my head....

Has anyone here ever tried one of those internet session businesses out?

http://www.trumpettracks.com

http://www.stringtracking.com

at least these are the only ones i know about....anyone know of any others?

see..I'm working on a song that i think would be great for strings, and thinking about using the guy from stringtracking.com...

ANy experience with these guys?

Hi Alan,

I just saw your post - I know it's kind of old now (I usually hang in the Brass & Woodwinds area here), but I thought I'd respond since I am an internet studio musician. RealSax.com is my site, and it is set up specifically to make it as easy to add world-class sax solos and horn sections to your recordings.

Did you end up using stringtracking.com? If so, how was your experience?

Regards,

Jim

Hey,

Surprized this thread is still attracting attention. I did end up using stringtracking.com....fellow named Tony. Super nice and professional, and i just got the tracks in the mail. Hes done alot of different styles (judging by his website), and i just asked for some simple parts done, but he elaborated what i wanted and made my song super awesome with over 6 separate tracks. I've been playing around with them and i really like making everything explode in the final chorus.

recommended. Haven't used any of the other guys though (including yourself).

Alan.
