I played a show last night with my band "Photons on High". After the show the sound guy gave me a CD of our performance (which I thought was cool). I put one song up from it. I thought we did this song pretty well. Check it out and tell me what you think. You can listen at

The songs called "56 years ago". Id really love to hear your critisism, just try to remeber its live.

Thanks

I'm really impressed with this performance. The vocals are excellent for a live performance. Your harmonies really add a great depth to the song. Good overall rhythmic control too, especially with the tempo/beat changes.

On a songwriting level I actually thought the song was too quick. It flew by me and I would've liked to hear more of it. Of course this could be a good thing, leaving the listener wanting more :D

Great tune, really enjoyed it! :thu:

Fun toe-tapping song!!

I liked the melody and the structure as well as the dual voice attack! ;)

But I have to say the beginning with the:

"Dup duru da dup dup daraaa" sounds like a snippet song in that movie Gremlins 2!! hehehehe I almost pissed my pants when I heard you sing it. :p

I was surprised at the active participation of the piano!

The whole song is a hoot but it ends too quickly!

I wanted more!!

If you have more songs like this, keep posting them!

Congratz on the gig.

It seems you had fun!!

Well the tempo was all over the place

The vocals were..well decent at best

The bass sounded flat

The guitars were too loud

It sounded like the band lacks focus..

Just kiddin, I thought it sounded very good. I can't wait to hear some real studio recordings.
