Members Sheik_Yerbouti
OD9 is true bypass and has the JRC4558 op-amp from the original TS808, but then again, there's nothing wrong with a good ol' TS9. OD9 is a tad warmer-sounding, though.
Members telephant
You can't really go wrong with any of them, they're just varying shades of the same thing IMO. I've never owned an OD9 but I did have an OD808 on my board for 6 or 7 years. Sounded great but it finally broke, so I bought an off the shelf Ibanez TS-9. It too sounds great. My biggest gripe is that you almost have to be on top of it to see the LED. But it was cheap and it still sounds like a Tubescreamer. Even though Sheik was referring to the OD9, I think the OD808 is also slightly warmer than my TS9. I dig the edginess to the TS, kinda like a toned down SD-1. Members doomsdaymachine
I don't know what it is about those, but I've owned both, and BOTH of them picked up radio signals through my amp. Never had problems with my Wylde OD, CM-2, or OCD's. Just the TS9, & OD9?? WTF?

Members ENdtime
Aren't they the exact same pcb, with the Maxon using a few tiny component changes? Btw, I'm selling a mint ts9 for $65 shipped. :-)
