Ted speaks on his passivist stance in the Iraq war:

"OUR ONLY FAILURE WAS THAT WE DIDNT NAGASAKI THE {censored}ERS!"

Sounds like a conscientious objector to me.

Yep.

OK, I guess that's what passes for... "logic" for you.

Now, explain in detail exactly how this equates to being 100% pro-war, without condition or exception, in any and every instance in which a war takes place.

Oh {censored}ing SPARE ME. Like everyone has the same political views when they get older and have actually experienced life that held when they were {censored}ing 19 years old and didn't know jack
{censored}
about life. I was a Democrat when I was younger until I finally figured out that their bull{censored}, naive idealism and socialism just don't jibe with the reality of human existence and that they're fiscally-suicidal MORONS. Then I became a staunch Republican until I got tired of their oppressive, sanctimonious religious bull{censored} and realized that BOTH of these fundamentally-corrupt parties have in reality been taking turns dry-{censored}ing us in the ass through the years. Now, I've gotten to the point where I'm more of a fiscal conservative and a social liberal, closer to a Libertarian than anything else (although I refuse to swear blind, partisan fealty to ANY one party), and personally believe that anyone who claims to be either 100% conservative or 100% liberal really doesn't do much thinking for themselves and I find those people generally SORELY lacking in so-called "common" sense.

You REALLY want me to dig up instances of BLATANT "hypocrisy" committed by your liberal political heroes? Do you
seriously
think it would be hard to find?! Pfffffffffffffttt... quit fooling yourself and blowing smoke up your own ass; politicians of EVERY stripe are hypocrites by their very nature, pandering to whatever group of potential voters they feel gives them the best chance of being re-elected to the Washington gravy train, only to turn right around and directly contradict themselves the very next day in front of another group of prospective voters is in their {censored}ing job description. As for celebrities, what about all the Hollywood screaming liberal moonbats who love to throw up the First Amendment as a shield to deflect any potential consequences for their actions and statements (thereby COMPLETELY proving their fundamental lack of understanding of what the First Amendment actually says and does in the process - Tim Robbins being a prime example), yet scream and rally for Rush Limbaugh and FOX News to be taken off of the air (We're all for "freedom of speech", as long as you AGREE with us!)? Where's all your righteous indignation for THEM, hmmmmn?

Talk about {censored}ing hypocrisy, you're SOAKING in it.

People have been "baiting" game since the dawn of human history. That's called being SMART. It's why we don't live in {censored}ing trees anymore. It's why we were able to secure enough animal proteins in our early existence to fuel the growth of our brains to their current state. {censored}, even ANIMALS "bait" other animals, or do you not watch Discovery or Animal Planet?
:o

Ted also hunts only sustainable game, most of it on his own land. If you're actually trying to {censored}ing sell me that in TENNESSEE of all places, that's "frowned upon", I wish you luck, you're gonna need it.

As for "defending" Ted Nugent, I'm just pointing out the crimes against logic being committed in this thread by you and Capo. If your logic is failing you, don't blame me for it, I'm just holding up the mirror, pal!
:thu:

And personally, I think Ted's a complete dick, btw, I just don't let that stand in the way of my having fun rubbing the noses of partisan sycophants like you in your own reality-bereft idiocy. You know what I think a "lowlife" is? Someone who has never once contributed anything but relentless negativity, misplaced narcissism and vaccuous, inconsequential POOT to any discussion they've ever entered.
:o

"Real" hunters don't bate game. Lazy ones do the baiting.

Arkansas - Hunters may bait deer on private land ONLY throughout hunting season. Baiting is not allowed on wildlife management areas.

Colorado - Using bait is illegal to hunt bears, deer, elk, pronghorn or moose. Bait means to put, expose, distribute or scatter salt, minerals, grain, animal parts or other food as an attraction for big game.

Illinois - NOT legal to feed or bait anything for deer.

New York - Not legal to feed deer or bait deer.

North Dakota - Private land baiting is legal. It is not legal on any public land.

Rhode Island - Not legal to feed deer or bait deer anything.

Tennessee - It is legal to feed deer but not to bait deer from 10 days prior to season start through hunting season.

Vermont - It is illegal to feed or bait deer anytime of year.

That's got to be a tough one to live down when you're this conservative right wing bow hunter macho type

Actually, although they like to talk tough, most conservatives ran away with their tails between their legs when it was their turn to go. Most of them just had their rich daddy make a few phone calls to get them into something that would keep them out of harms way like a desk job or the coast guard. Nugent likes to talk tough because he kills defenseless animals, no surprise that when someone could have shot back at him he wanted nothing to do with it. Sounds like the truth of the matter is that he had a yeast infection in his little wagina, poor baby!

Nagasaki was pretty much 100%

Your arguments aren't coming out of Ted's mouth. He's denying that this episode ever happened. And like I said before, if he had some
political problem with the Viet Nam war...why did he {censored} his pants instead of just being the baddass he claims he is and just
declare himself against the war as a consciemtious objector instead of this dishonorable, deceitful method he's obviously ashamed of to the point of distancing himself.

I've already cut and pasted enough {censored} for you. Maybe you can back up some of YOUR argument that he's a pacifist.

Chirpity chirp chirp.

I think that's what you meant to say. The military is filled with both conservatives and liberals. Although I have no empirical data, I tend to think the conservatives outweigh the liberals based on my experience.

FWIW, I place about as much importance on what Uncle Ted has to say as I do on what Bono or Zack de la Rocha have to say.

All of which does exactly DICK to mitigate what I said about "baiting" being not only smart, but the way nature itself works. Nice try though, care to try again? :o

Holy {censored}ing {censored}... you're now actually trying to somehow spin that I'm saying Ted Nugent is a PACIFIST?! REALLY?! Bro, that is some {censored}ing weak-ass {censored}, even for YOU. And NO, but I'm sorry, everything you've posted so far would never convince ANYONE else but a fellow like-minded, prejudiced, hypocritical partisan bigot that your argument is valid. So far your pallid attempt at a factual argument has amounted to nothing more than trying to convince an atheist that God exists by reading scripture to him. In short, your ass... you're talking out of it. :o

I'd offer a challenge to you to identify for me one key and fundamental (as it pertains to this argument) difference between Vietnam and all of our subsequent "wars" that changes the point quite drastically, but I really don't have the time to wait on you to figure it out. It's the DRAFT.

Thus far, every single post you've made in this thread that you created, indeed the very premise of creating this thread, has REEKED of partisan sycophancy, bigotry and prejudice. You keep insinuating that anyone who is a conservative in any way, or supports any ONE war, MUST be 100% pro-war in EVERY circumstance, without exception or condition, and so far, you've failed miserably and utterly to prove that beyond hurling about still more empty, spoon-fed partisan talking points, bigotry and ignorant prejudice. I keep offering you the chance to try again, and you keep disappointing me. (Not really, I never expect someone who starts an argument WITHOUT an argument to do anything other than disappoint anyone who values rational debate and logic :thu:) How... unexpected.

Also, and just trying to help here, if when you type something and a red line appears under it, it means you've misspelled it. You're welcome!

Are you sure you and Capo aren't the same person? Surely no two people in the same place can be THAT obtuse, can they? Not that it really matters, what you call "lazy", I call "smart" and have pointed out to you not only that without it, we would still be swinging from a tree somewhere, but that EVERYWHERE in nature, this is how it's done. Survival of the fittest. Survival of the smartest. Survival of those smart enough to adapt and succeed. Survival of those not stupid enough to insist on doing everything the way other, less successful creatures do it. In short, in a perfect Darwinian world, YOU wouldn't exist. :poke:

So a thread about an ultra-conservative loudmouthed asshole...not saying one has anything to do with the other, just that Nugent is all of the above...starts a {censored}-cannon of a crapfest of vitriolic proportions on HCAF?

NO WAY. NEVAR.

Knowing how much bull{censored} Ted spreads, I doubt very much of it's actually TRUE, but if it is, it worked flawlessly and didn't cost him his career in the process.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) - Rock musician and conservative activist Ted Nugent pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a federal wildlife violation after he failed to track down and kill a black bear he wounded with bow and arrow in Alaska during filming for his reality television show three years ago.

Nugent, 63, pleaded guilty by telephone in U.S. District Court in Ketchikan, Alaska to a single misdemeanor count of violating an environmental protection law, his attorney Wayne Anthony Ross said.

Under a plea deal filed in court Friday and approved at Tuesday's hearing, Nugent agreed to pay a $10,000 fine, be forbidden from hunting in Alaska or any U.S. national forest for a year and to serve two years' probation.

The sentence also requires Nugent to film a public service announcement about responsible hunting to air at least every other week for a year, and to pay $600 in restitution to the state of Alaska.

"I cherish my hunting time and relationships with the people and the wildlife of Alaska," Nugent said, according to an audio recording of the hearing published by Anchorage Daily News. "I'm afraid I was blindsided by this, and I sincerely apologize to everyone for it."

The violation was during a 2009 bow-hunting trip filmed for Nugent's reality television show, "Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild." Nugent hit and wounded one bear on May 22, 2009 but failed to locate that animal, according to court documents. Four days later, Nugent shot and killed a different black bear, transporting his prey by boat out of the national forest.

Alaska hunting regulations establish an annual bag limit of one black bear per designated geographic area. In that region of southeast Alaska, a wounded bear counts toward the bag limit under state regulations. Regulations also require hunters to track down wounded animals.

By exceeding his state bag limit and transporting the dead animal out of federal territory, Nugent violated the Lacey Act, according to the plea agreement.

Ross said Nugent, at the time of the hunt, was not aware that the wounded bear counted toward his bag limit.

Nugent, who is best known for hit 1970s songs including "Cat Scratch Fever" and "Motor City Madhouse," drew national attention last week because of critical remarks he made about President Barack Obama at the National Rifle Association convention.

Nugent told NRA supporters in St. Louis that he would be "dead or in jail" next year if Obama is re-elected in the November 6 election.

"We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November," Nugent said in comments directed at administration officials.

Secret Service agents requested a meeting with Nugent to determine if he was a threat to the president. Last Thursday, Nugent said he had a "solid" meeting with Secret Service agents. The Secret Service said the matter had been resolved with no further action expected.

Ross said the year-long prohibition on hunting in Alaska or on any national forest territory and the two-year probationary term will not deter Nugent from hunting in general.

Personally I'd've liked if Ted would've gone to war and been killed in action. We'd be spared his sanctimonious @$$hole schtick now, there'd be a lot less teenage (and pre-teen) girls who were raped and we'd not have a felon taking game animals in Alaska.

As for those on the "right", you REALLY think that rich white guys like you poor white guys? Really? That they care so much about you that they'll alienate their major contributors?

And for those on the "left", you REALLY think that rich white guys like you poor white guys? Really? That they care so much about you that they'll alienate their major contributors?

C'mon.

Derek
