Members Guitarman63 Posted August 21, 2012 Members Share Posted August 21, 2012 I have found a DR. Z Maz 38 Sr Combo 2x12 with Reverb for $1,150. This amp is in great condition and sounds amazing. I have been doing some research and it seems the NR might have more gain. Has anyone ever heard the difference between these two amps? Trying to figure it all out before this Friday. Members jnurp Posted August 21, 2012 Members Share Posted August 21, 2012 I had a reverb model. It was a really fun amp for awhile, i got that little sucker cookin with hummers and a boost. Members jnurp Posted August 21, 2012 Members Share Posted August 21, 2012 i found strats to be too squeaky and too glassy thru those 10' dr z speakers. lp's and other hummer geets are too hot for em imo. I'm starting to get tired of lumping my 4x12 cab around. I have a 52' tele Re issue that sounds great through this half stack. Just looking for something smaller with "BIG" tone.
