Members Crunchtime Posted October 24, 2012 Members Share Posted October 24, 2012 Do you have any special rituals when getting new gear? Waiting for FedEx to bring my Mrak has me thinking about this. When waiting for a guitar I usually carefully decide what the first riff played will be. While there is no evidence to support it, I believe this is important for the mojo I will feel from the guitar. For example, while waiting once for an SG, I decided the first riff would be the intro for Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution. If I changed my mind at the last moment and played a different riff the guitar could never become the one. With amps I always start on the clean channel and gradually work through the amp untill I reach full gain madness. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
