Members slicepaperdavid Posted November 13, 2012 Members Posted November 13, 2012 I see the 100h but not the 100hdm on MF. I dig the look of the hdm better, besides the cosmetics and the half power switch they are the same amp right?
Members guitarbilly74 Posted November 14, 2012 Members Posted November 14, 2012 no they're not the same amp, since the HDM also has the depth mod. But AFAIK the amp is still in production.
Members Viesczy Posted November 14, 2012 Members Posted November 14, 2012 I don't recall every seeing MF sell those... did they? AMS still lists them, $899.97 out the door!http://www.americanmusical.com/Item-...JCA100HDM-LIST You know that 2x12 they offer is crazy interesting to me... don't as me why as they're battleship anchors, but I love a good 2x12 combo. Derek

Trannies might be different too but still the same circuit. I think I know what you're saying though...

Well . . . I see it like the H being a Camaro Z28, and the HDM like being a Camaro SS

I remember reading the trannie changes went on to the ordinary ones too (100 watters). Other than that depth mod, grill, half power switch. In essence and unless they toyed with the circuit, they are the same amp more or less. But I can't remember if they both had 6L6s.
Members slicepaperdavid Posted November 15, 2012 Author Members Posted November 15, 2012 ^ I got a prompt email back from Doug at Jet City letting me know the HDM is still in production. He answered a few other of my questions, very impressed with the customer service
