Members Johansolo
made this vid to try and see if there was any difference... i made one mistake...i forgot to double check that my amp was on the clean channel...and lately ive been dialing my framus lead channel to very low gain/verge of breakup... and i was using the mi effects megalith delta on top...it a slightly more muffled/middy soudn than what i would normally use...but i had already desoldered the pickup before i realised... tried to play the same. and as close pickup height as possible. initially...i prefered the stock ibanez INF4...and IMO these are good stock pickups.... after lowering the d-activators...theyre not so much woofy and much clearer. take what you will out of this...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mMe4EXBvUs
Members Filter500
I honestly don't care for the tone, but you already explained that. Between the two, and it's very subtle, I actually prefer the INF4. I've tried the D Activator before and didn't like it. Is that RG mahogany? An Evolution would sound much better if it is. Members colejustesen
I am not fond of the distortion you are getting... a little to woofy for me... That being said, I can definitely tell that the D-Activator cuts more... Cole

I like how raw it sounds on the palm mutes, but it's a bit too much over the top.

Members Mauler
Definitely prefer the Dimarzio (but am somewhat a fanboy). Maybe you need to throw a Breed in and see how you prefer it?
