Members Mikemtm
How do you remove the grill from a Mesa Rectifier cabinet? I need to replace the torn grill cloth.
Members messenger
I believe its like Marshall. You have to take the back off, then remove the baffle.
Members Mikemtm
You were absolutely correct. Thanks for your help. I took the back off, and unscrewed the grill from inside the cabinet.
Members Dutch77
You were absolutely correct. Thanks for your help. I took the back off, and unscrewed the grill from inside the cabinet. The real chore is the quarter million tacks the cloth is fastened with... I have a torn cloth on my Rectifier 4x12 as well, But I can't find the cloth anywhere! I want it to be as close to original as possible. I love that look. It is real close to Marshall salt and pepper grill in weave structure, which is sold everywhere, but the all-black version is nowhere to be found. Except at vibroworld.com, but he's been closed for two years that I know of. The "will reopen soon" notice has been up on the site for just as long. Anyone know where to find Mesa black grill cloth? Or something very close to it?
Members Dutch77
Please disregard the comment on the Marshall Salt and Pepper Cloth. I've seen some that are of the same weave and others that are different. I may be confused with tan weave I've seen here and there as well... It's depressing.
