Members type2guy
I'm trying to put an MXR six band EQ back in service. Can anyone tell me how to wire these four wires to 9v battery and input output jacks?

Members mike42
Just from what you have there it isn't likely that anybody can give you a firm answer unless they happen to have seen inside that particular pedal. If you have three hookups from only 4 wires it's pretty sure that they're all on a common ground. Black wire is probably best guess for that. But the rest is kind of a crap shoot. You can usually spot a ground trace because it will typically run all over the board and have many of the components tied directly to it. If you can get a good closeup pic of the other side of the board with the points where those 4 wires are connected clearly marked (blk, blu, red, yel), it may be possible to make a good guess about what goes where. Members type2guy
I figured it out. I needed to ground the jacks to each other. Pedal works! And sounds great! Thanks for help.
