Members jumpinoreo Posted December 25, 2003 Members Posted December 25, 2003 Hey everyone. I just bought myself a beautiful Taylor 310 CE L4 yesterday, and I absolutely love it. It is the most beautiful sounding guitar I have ever heard. Anyway, my question is this. My B string tends to ring out a bit differently than the other 5 strings. It almost has a chorusy sound to it, natuarlly. It makes it kind of hard to hear the tuning of it properly, and it stands out when playing a chord like E major. It only has that tone quality when it is played open. Otherwise, it is not a problem. Do you think it is just a faulty string, or should I take this puppy in to be looked at? Does any one else have this problem with their acoustic? Thanks for looking.
Members Starr man Posted December 26, 2003 Members Posted December 26, 2003 Hi! I would change the string first, it is easy enough.....If not, then take it back for a qualified tech. to adjust. You might just have a old set of strings on there. I always put brand new ones on all new guitars...
