Members CDT-shag Posted March 15, 2004 Members Posted March 15, 2004 ultrasound 50w powered extension cabinet: this one: http://www.guitaradoptions.com/prodcat/customer/product.php?productid=17492&cat=&page=1 what inputs and outputs does this thing have?..I can't find a manual online.. I have a marshall as50r now and it has 1/4" unbalanced out and a XLR (DI) out... also I can run 1/4" unbalanced and XLR balanced out from my lr bagg's padi.. I'm just thinking that I could use a little more headroom and the price of this cab is nice.
Members Guitar Adoptions Posted March 15, 2004 Members Posted March 15, 2004 The AG-50E Extension Cab has 1/4" line level input only and volume control.Hope that helps! Thanks,Dave
Members CDT-shag Posted March 16, 2004 Author Members Posted March 16, 2004 well, can't get much simplier than that...thanks Dave.
Members Guitar Adoptions Posted March 17, 2004 Members Posted March 17, 2004 Another option would be to try a Raven Labs PMB II in front of the amp. I have had several customers use one in front of their Ultrasound AG50DS2 and tell me it really increases the headroom as well as apparent volume of the amp. And with less feedback problems! One customer last week said " Dave, you have to make your Ultrasound customers buy the Raven Labs box, they won't believe the difference!".
Members CDT-shag Posted March 17, 2004 Author Members Posted March 17, 2004 thanks Dave..I'm pretty happy with my PADI going to the FOH and stage amp..I just need some extra ummph and I was thinking that the 50e could be run from the 1/4" line out of the marshall amp...
