Members sheepdog Posted March 10, 2004 Members Posted March 10, 2004 I am looking for a decent acoustic-electric guitar. I want it to be a single cutaway model and as close to $250 or less as possible. Not too picky about the color. I am primarilly a bass player, but wish to get an a/e guitar for praise music with my church. I have seen some decent looking ones from Ibanez, Dean, and Alvarez. I saw one I liked from Rondo music (SX), but apparently their acoustic guitars do not live up to the quality of their basses. Any recommendations?

Members slkeen Posted April 2, 2004 Members Posted April 2, 2004 Yamaha makes decent stuff in this price range
Members bsman Posted April 2, 2004 Members Posted April 2, 2004 I strongly urge you to save up until you have about twice that. I guarantee that over the long term you will be happier to have a better guitar later than one now that you will soon want to upgrade. After all - how long does it take to save up $250 these days?
