Members SurrealMcCoy Posted June 7, 2004 Author Members Posted June 7, 2004 The one on the far left is the Yamaha CPX15EA (mini jumbo w/Spruce top/quilted Mahogany back/sides).
Members buddyboy Posted June 7, 2004 Members Posted June 7, 2004 That's a beautiful page. Thank you, Alan. Taylor is very talented, too.
Members desaljs Posted June 7, 2004 Members Posted June 7, 2004 Alan, Nice collection! I really like the Larrivee parlor. What I wanted to comment on, is the issue of "sneaking guitars" into the house. Since I have been bitten by this bug, I find myself in a position to do some sneaking of my own. My wife already thinks I'm nuts, with all the juggeling around of acoustics I have done recently. What I find with these instruments is this; it takes a while to decide if you really like an acoustic guitar. I need to hold it, play it and fuss with if for several weeks, before deciding if it is "a keeper". If I decide it is not right for me, I trade and take a little bit of a hit, but find that once all is right, I will not want to part with the guitars I like. Am I alone with this strange illness??? Regards,
Members Pedro Posted June 7, 2004 Members Posted June 7, 2004 Sweet collection. I only have one acoustic, but I'm getting another one on saturday. maybe I should sell my electric stuff and get more acoustic stuff.

Regards, Hey Jim, Yeah the "sneaking" thing was just a joke...........I really do have a very understanding and supportive wife. She knows where my heart lies.......... However; lately she has begun to ask me: "Is this the last one"? I make a living playing piano & keys............so I've agreed to sell quite a bit of my keyboard equipment that I no longer need............to help fund my "pursuit of PRETTIES"! I agree with truly needing a time factor to get to really know your instruments.............I'm still making evaluations...........
