How many acoustics do you own and play?

I have two:

Martin HD-28

Larrivee J-10 KK

(I'm not counting the Martin Backbacker that an old girlfriend gave me because the neck warped and I pick it up about once every 5 months and haven't changed the strings on it in over a year.)

I was wondering the same thing, anyway in no particular order,

Tacoma ER22C (2002)

Martin D18 (1967)

In order of their appearance:

Taylor 414K

Jasmine S34C

Larrivee J-05-12

Lowden O25

Kenny Hill La Curva

I guess that makes 5. Not a bad start.

The next one's probably going to be a Goodall.

I have one and a half: the Takamine in my sig and a no-name plywood guitar in my mother's attic that hasn't had strings on it in 10 years. I'm due for another one, but it's not in the cards.

EDIT: BTW - I see a lot of guys here with 4+ geetars! How DO you do it? Are the kids all grown? Do you have Stepford wives? Please tell me your secret! :)

Jes-Louise, and I was hesitant about getting a third acoustic!!! A used Larrivee J-09.

I have seven...sort of. One is on indefinite loan to my brother. It will go to his son when he is done with it. Another gets used primarily as a loaner also. The five that I actually use are as follows:

1) Martin D-28P (used to belong to my Grandpa)

2) Martin D-1932 Shenandoah

3) Martin C-1R Thomas Humphries

4) 1925 Martin 0-21

5) Morgan 12-string

Only 2:

1) Taylor 714ce, cedar/Indian rosewood

2) Martin OMC-18VLJ, Adirondack spruce/mahogany

Not really counting my old Takamine classical here. I'm contemplating a #3, which will probably be some sort of classical to replace it.

egads! You all have some serious collections there! My stable at this point is:

1994 Martin DR1 (beat to hell at this point but sounds great!)

2002 Martin 000C-16RGTE (my main gigging acoustic)

1999 Taylor 555 12 string (don't play much, but every time I think about selling her, I pick her up, play a bit, then say, "I don't think so")

All of them have pickups, with the DR1 and 555 having been installed post mfr.

I have 3 electrics as well (Ric, Tele, LP Copy), which I play with my other band, a jam band of sorts.

Keep the acoustics at home and the electrics at the rental rehearsal space with my Silverface Twin.

Do acoustics I build count?

2 Gibson J200s (one Koa and one maple)

2 Alvarez Yairis (one Brazilian Rosewood, one quilt maple)

1 Jumbo Harmony Sovereign

1 mahogany Harmony 000-15 copy

I have a few guitars I'm building and some more Harmony guitars in the garage I'm working on.....

1) The {censored}ty old no-name (actually not a bad guitar)

2) The shiny new Taylor 314GA (purchased when the action on the old guitar became my limiting factor)

I'm a Gibsonite and a sound-over-features kind of fellow.

The cheap goods in use are (in order of purchase):

Seagull S6+ Cedar (from the '90s)

Landola J-855 (from the '90s)

Levin (Goya in North America) TBK 12-string (from the '50s)

Moving on up:

Gibson J-50 Deluxe ('74)

Gibson J-100 Xtra (2003)

Martin HD-28 (probably 2003)

Guild D-212SB 12-str ('82)

On the wishinglist:

Gibson Sheryl Crow sign

Gibson J-185

Some resonator
