Thanks for my Larrivee

I'm a total newcomer to guitars and I've been enjoying this forum. Recently I decided to get my first acoustic, and read everything I could find about them, including some valuable posts on this forum. Many members suggested that potential buyers take a good look at Larrivee. So as I visited guitar shops in my area, I asked about Larrivees, was blown away by the sound, and finally bought one yesterday. I am thrilled with this guitar. Now remember, I can't play with a darn yet, but the tones from this instrument make me want to practice.

So thanks again to all who recommended Larrivee.

I've had a LV-09 for a couple of years and I love it.

 

It's my favorite guitar (out of the three that I own, a prs, a strat, and the larrivee).

Heck, I haven't had a new guitar in 5 years, my wish list continues to grow and my wife is secretly planning an "intervention", I can feel it!

Larrivees are GREAT guitars, despite what you hear elsewhere. And they're all solid wood. Hear that Martin and Taylor?

OK, I am posting a pic of my new delight.

I think it's your basic D-03. The shop where I got it had evidently sold hundreds of these at $700, judging by the Larrivee sales award plaques on the wall. I purchased one of the last ones and got an exceptional deal on it. Frankly, after hearing it compared to other instruments, I would have paid more! I'm another happy Larrivee customer.
