Members chris larmore Posted August 5, 2004 Members Posted August 5, 2004 I am looking for a good inexpensive beginner acoustic guitar. I was looking at the jonhson jg 610 as a complete package. I dont want to spend more than 100 bux delivered as I am not sure if I will be into the product and dont want to invest a ton of money. It would be great if you could suggest some other inexpensive models that have worked well for you.thanks, chris larmore [email protected]
Members LittleBrother Posted August 5, 2004 Members Posted August 5, 2004 Very decent Washburn D-100 99.00 dollars www.musiciansfriend.com I have referred 3-4 of them for friends and they are beginners and very happy now. Here http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid=040805131246068219128244980801/g=guitar/search/detail/base_pid/515366/ Now if you want delivery in that price. Prepare for some kinda Esteban junk. Not gonna happen.
Members UGB Posted August 5, 2004 Members Posted August 5, 2004 That Washburn is a great starter guitar. You can get it, and others on ebay for less. Here's a good starter Alvarez RD-10 Shipping will put you over your budget, but this is the cheapest solid top you'll find, and it's a good guitar Washburn D10-S Another One A Washburn D9 is all laminate, but still a decent guitar $100 to your door Another D10 Another laminate top Washburn. I bought my last guitar from these guys and would do it again in a heartbeat. Washburn D8 I've only played one Samick acoustic in my life, and it was in the top 3 of any acoustic I've ever played. It was a more expensive model than this one, but, who knows?? Samick LJ028A That's the kind of guitar I'd go over to the user review section of HC and see how it holds up. There's good stuff said about this one too SX Acoustic The Kona K1 is supposed to be pretty good too but it's a tad over $100.
Members guitarcapo Posted August 7, 2004 Members Posted August 7, 2004 I HIGHLY recommend the SX acoustic being sold by Rondomusic.com It has a solid spruce top, awesome build quality and costs 99.00 plus 20 to ship. THIS IS THE ONE!
