Members Redsand187 Posted September 15, 2004 Members Posted September 15, 2004 Well, I've been playing off and on since I was 9 years old. It was untill last year that I actually got somewhat serious. (on a hobby level) Anyway's I pretty much listen to the same music day in and day out, and I can play most of it. So now I'm kind of getting bored again. I like Alice in Chains, Days of the New, Blind Melon... most of the early-mid 90's rock bands. I play both electric and acoustic, but acoustic is more relaxing. I really enjoy sitting down and playing the AIC unplugged songs. Anyone have some good recomendations for something to try. Preferabling standard picking style, I'm not the greatest finger-pick'er.

I worked it out once and i ended up with some ridiculous tuning for it. worked quite nicely but i don't think it was right.
