Members Greg Bogoshian Posted September 22, 2004 Members Posted September 22, 2004 ...Now, if only someone will only buy our old house... Boggs
Members Blackface Posted September 22, 2004 Members Posted September 22, 2004 Are you the guy that's moving to Pittsburgh?
Members 54merk Posted September 22, 2004 Members Posted September 22, 2004 Congratulations on the move to the new house with the big woodshop. I can envision a guitar building production line!
Members Pedro Posted September 22, 2004 Members Posted September 22, 2004 Congrats boggs. Hope you sell the old house soon.

Members Greg Bogoshian Posted September 24, 2004 Author Members Posted September 24, 2004 Thanks! I'll be about 150 yards from the southern shore of Lake Ontario...
Members Greg Bogoshian Posted September 24, 2004 Author Members Posted September 24, 2004 Close went very smoothly... Now the real work begins.
Members 56Tweed Posted September 24, 2004 Members Posted September 24, 2004 Great to hear Greg! What part of Rochester? I think you said east side WAY back when I asked. I grew up in Rochester, but mostly in the western suburbs (Greece, Chili). We lived in Hamlin when I was real little though, and I was only about 3 miles from Hamlin beach. Pretty nice area, too bad there aren't enough good jobs. Mike
Members Greg Bogoshian Posted September 26, 2004 Author Members Posted September 26, 2004 Yeah... I'm on the east side. I am moving from very near Irondequoit bay to the Summerville area just north and west of Durand Eastman Park... If you know the area, I am going to be on Rock Beach Road just north of Lake Shore Blvd... between there and the lake.
Members 56Tweed Posted September 26, 2004 Members Posted September 26, 2004 I believe I remeber the Lake Shore area, but its been awhile. I did have a few friends in the Irondequoit area too. Good luck with the new digs! Mike
Members buddyboy Posted September 27, 2004 Members Posted September 27, 2004 Congratulations Boggs! May the soothing view inspire your creative inner-genius!! Boggs, are you of Armenian ancestry??
Members Greg Bogoshian Posted September 27, 2004 Author Members Posted September 27, 2004 You are a winner... The "ian" at the end of my, and almost all Armenian last names is the dead giveaway. It refers to "son of". In my case, it would be son of Bogosh. Thanks for the good wishes, too. We moved my daughter over there yesterday and hauled a 17 foot truckload, two pickup loads, and one Outback load of stuff. Seems like we hardly scratched the surface... Still haven't had anybody check out our house yet to sell... I'll be stuck with the big mortgage, 2 tax bills, 2 utility bills, 2 insurance bills, and 2 yards to keep up until we can sell this one. GAS ain't an option... Boggs
Members buddyboy Posted September 28, 2004 Members Posted September 28, 2004 Hang in, Boggs. Focus on the great tax year you are going to enjoy! Your old house appreciates everyday, so reward yourselves when it's all done. BTW - My father-inlaw moved himself up from New Orleans to North Carolina one pickup truck load at a time. He has one or too more trips.
