I do not believe that LaSiDo allows dealers to advertise online. you're right, they have some sort of internet policy against it. if you do a search on yahoo for 'seagull AND guitar' then you will find some sites who say "we sell canadian guitars but you have to call", etc. some of these may only sell seagull but it's worth a try calling them b/c sometimes when there's seagull there's simon and patrick since they are both from the lasido company. i can think of one place right off hand that was good to deal with: http://www.acousticaxis.com i bought a seagull artist folk from them once. good price. they may or may not have simon and patrick but it would be worth a try. of course as suggested above you can go through the dealers list. that'll take some time though. but may be worth it if you get a good deal. happy hunting!

Seagull re intoduced the artist folk in 2004.. i'm not sure what year mine was made. i had more guitars at the time and ended up selling it to a friend. i was going through a lot of guitars trying to find the one just right for me at that time. anyways, it's a very nice guitar. even though it's a slightly smaller body the tone was still warm to balanced. the quality is very good. of course the artist series was the top of the line for seagull so they got extra attention. i'm not sure if there would be that much difference between it and the folk from the s series. the artist has some cosmetic additions, and a solid back. but other than that it's basically the same guitar i think.. i was actually going to just get the s series folk but it was out of stock and i got offered the artist at a very sweet price and took it.
