Is it just the normal EADGBE or should it be tuned up or down? I have been playing for over 20 years but this is something I have not come across and was just wondering due to the smaller scale length
Members LosBoleros Posted October 20, 2004 Members Posted October 20, 2004 Tune it regular will be fine. Watch out for 3/4 guitars without a re-enforced neck. You wouldnt want to add extra tension with heavy strings or tuning higher.

Members 54merk Posted October 20, 2004 Members Posted October 20, 2004 The short neck will create LESS TENSION, not more, so tuning it to std. 440 A will not in any way hurt the guitar. It will also be very easy to play which should help a beginner. Probably no harm in tuning it up a step, particularly since it has nylon strings, however, if you get any buzzing.
