Classical CD

Hey guys. I posted this inquiry on the music biz page and haven't had a response, and I thought that someone here might have some information.

I have been getting some great recordings of my classical works and have been thinking about the possibility of releasing them on a new CD for sale. I am an independent musician.

I was wondering what I have to do to get the rights from the composer and/or whoever has the rights to the pieces so I am not infringing on any copywrite laws. Is there a big fee to pay? The pieces that I have so far are "La Catedral" by Agustin Barrios Mangore, "Koyunbaba" by Carlo Domeniconi, and "Danza Caracteristica" by Leo Brouwer.

I know that this is a question that is going to have a long answer, but although I have been playing all of my life, I am not too clear on the business behind it all. Any info would help.

Thanks,

Adam

p.s. If you want to listed to some tracks, you can visit the music page on www.adamwhiting.net. Koyunbaba is the only one that I have up there that I would release.
