They are coming off after less than a week. They died real quick. I like them better than the EXP's and the Alchemy Bronze (still have to try the Al Phos) but after only a couple hours of play time, they are shot. Elixirs are the only string that seems to last for me. Plus, I like the brightness.

If you like SP's, try Newtone Master Class Phosphor Bronze or for more of a value John Pearce Phosphor Bronze... I guarantee you will like either of those brands better (the Newtones are awesome) and will last longer.

My hands eat strings. I have that corrosive sweat that eats metal. Uncoated strings last a day or maybe two on my acoustic. When I gig with my Les Paul or Strat, strings last for a set and then I have to adjust for dead strings for the next two. Elixirs are bright enough that they last me for about three weeks before I change them. I am a slave to the tone so if inspiration comes at the cost of new strings then I might as well buy the ones that last the longest.

I have heard that the JP's are great but I don't want to get hooked on them and then have to change them every other day. I am always open to suggestions thoughl
