Members TheAxeMan Posted January 17, 2005 Members Posted January 17, 2005 I used one a while back, I don't know who it was made by. It had a 10 band (?) EQ, some common effects, chorus, delay, echo. It sounded real nice but I have no clue where to look for stuff like that.(Acoustic preamps and such) If anyone wants to know I have a Taylor 310 with a Fishman Matrix Natural II..
Members TheAxeMan Posted January 17, 2005 Author Members Posted January 17, 2005 The one I used earlier was a black rackmount unit. It may have been just a regular guitar preamp come to think of it.
Members Preacher Will Posted January 17, 2005 Members Posted January 17, 2005 Have you looked at the AG Stomp?
Members TheAxeMan Posted January 17, 2005 Author Members Posted January 17, 2005 I don't think I've heard of it. What's it do?
Members sdelsolray Posted January 17, 2005 Members Posted January 17, 2005 What's your budget? Do you have anything against using rack mounted gear?
Members TheAxeMan Posted January 18, 2005 Author Members Posted January 18, 2005 two hundred max. Nope Also do you drive a Del Sol?

Members franchelB Posted January 22, 2005 Members Posted January 22, 2005 It has: 1. Chorus 2. Reverb 3. EQ 4. but most importantly, a balanced D.I.

Members RainsongDR1000 Posted January 24, 2005 Members Posted January 24, 2005 For $200 you also might look at the Yamaha magicstomp acoustic, although I don't think it's a preamp, just effects/modeling unit.
Members guitarcapo Posted January 25, 2005 Members Posted January 25, 2005 I've found that the Baggs para Eq works really well in combination with a Digitech RP300 pedal. Nice effects package and very realistic acoustic tone that way.
